Omega's OS-PEN9 offers an array of features in a pocket-size thermometer. These features include: a wide temperature range of 30 to 500°C (-27 to 932°F), a 9:1 spot size, circle laser, an ergonomic casing for comfortable holding and measuring, and a backlit LCD. Battery life is 30 hours of continuous use. This pen has three useful functions in addition to real time temperature measurement: Hold, Minimum and Maximum. This is an ideal unit for food service, general maintenance use and spot-checking process measurements.
